SGT Solutions is a subsidiary of African Equity Empowerment Investments (AEEI), who acquired 100% of the shares in the company from Saab South Africa on 28 February 2019. AEEI is a black-owned and black-controlled investment holding company in South Africa and is listed on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange. AEEI's main objective is to empower previously disadvantaged individuals through job creation and maximizing shareholder wealth generation by making strategic investments. AEEI has 68% black ownership and 35% black woman ownership.
